Work load Columbia

Hi everyone,

I have been admitted to Columbia and I was wondering what the work load was. I guess Columbia's llm requires a lot of work, but I can't really figure out how intense it can be. Indeed, I chose Columbia because it is an outstanding university but I also did it because it was in NYC and that I want my year in LLM to be fun.

Can anyone update me on the workload at Columbia? Compared to other universities (Chicago, NYU, Harvard etc?)

Thanks a lot

You will work like a dog. Don't even think about partying and having fun there.

Hey garlick,

That sounds intense but I feel good about it.. I don't think shelling out the kind of money one requires for the LL.M course is intended to have fun at CLS, atleast not by my standards.. However having fun or enjoying oneself is incidental and will not be missed so long as the focus stays on the LL.M course!

Loking forward to seeing you at CLS Cookal.. Join the FB group if u haven't still.
