I sent them an email a few weeks ago and got an answer within a few days - a rejection, but an answer nonetheless. If you are antsy for an answer, I think that is the way to go.

It is not a good idea to stay glued to your computer checking CamSIS every 5 minutes. The reality is CamSIS is usually updated way after you have been made an offer via e-mail (and receiving it in the post).

The problem with Cambridge's inefficiency in communicating its admission decisions, believe it or not, lies in the law faculty being inadequately staffed. For example, from what I understand poor Suzanne is the only person in charge of sending out all the offer e-mails. I suspect they do not dedicate much resources to deciding all applications with speed either.

Having said that, and bearing in mind the circumstances, you should not make any assumptions as to whether you have been offered a place or rejected until you receive the email from Suzanne. The wait is painful I know. I've been through it. But at the end of the day receiving the offer letter makes it all worthwhile :)

I actually didn't ask for the outcome of the application process, had another query concerning my application. But it seems we will be waiting until the 15th of april, hopefully no longer ;-)

I still have not heard back from Cambridge! My Camsis page has not been updated either and still says I am a 'Applicant'..

Is anyone else still waiting? And has anyone actually been told they have been unsuccessful?

I haven't applied to the Cantab LLM this year but i'm sure some people would have received an email stating they were not successful by now??? Or they would have had their Camsis updated stating they were rejected.

I would agree, I got my offer 6 weeks ago, so surely they can't still be making decisions on whether to accept or not?!?!

...and what about those with no answer by now? Do you mean they just forgot about us?
