The reality is CamSIS is usually updated way after you have been made an offer via e-mail (and receiving it in the post). The problem with Cambridge's inefficiency in communicating its admission decisions, believe it or not, lies in the law faculty being inadequately staffed. For example, from what I understand poor Suzanne is the only person in charge of sending out all the offer e-mails. I suspect they do not dedicate much resources to deciding all applications with speed either. Having said that, and bearing in mind the circumstances, you should not make any assumptions as to whether you have been offered a place or rejected until you receive the email from Suzanne. The wait is painful I know. I've been through it.
