accepting an offer as a backup

Does anybody know if there's a problem with accepting offers for both an LSE LLM and for an American LLM? The American offer has tougher academic conditions and I will take it if I get the grades.

I guess if made the tougher conditions I'd have to tell LSE that I don't want to go there after all when my exam results come out In June. Can anyone foresee any problems with doing this?

I know it is not a problem with the LSE. You do not become liable to any expenses untill you register in person at the school.
