Personally, New York without doubt.

but

I have lived in London for the last 6 years - and to be honest i miss the sun as i come from a mediterranean country but as you may know NY and London have striking cultural (and other) similarities and i believe i would fit much better in this type of culture than in LA. Secondly I dont drive and wihtout a car in LA you are useless.

As a university, NYU is slightly better than UCLA, been admitted to both but I have accepted NYU despite the fact UCLA has an LLM class of only 50.

Thank you! Yes, two things make the choice harder - the climate of LA and the class size. However, I was told several times that big class is not a big deal (actually the same as you are in a small class). Hope it is true.?

NYU is more than just slightly better, it's much better. For Americans, there's a huge difference if you went to NYU or UCLA... NYU is right up there after Harvard.

Dear all

NYU is overrated. It's a supermarket law school with little prestige and tradition. On the otherhand, UCLA is even more supermarket than NYU. So NYU for sure.

It doesn't matter if it's overrated or not, as long it's rated so high. The psychology and methodology behind the reason for the prestige means nothing if your main goal is to do well after graduation. Then again, it's not overrated at all. Its faculty, facilities and atmosphere are unmatched and it's not a supermarket, it's a university.
