Thanks, thats really encouraging. If MR 9 999 is sufficient for admission into Int. Arbitration, I would hope it should get me into EU law (although I'm trying not to get my hopes up too much).Fri Apr 18, 2008 01:07 PM Its tempting to contact the administrator but I guess notification is on the 29th so I'll try and hold out until then. |

LLThu May 08, 2008 06:49 AM On studera I was in selection group 13. It just states admitted and there is a message stating to start applying for visas etc. My guess would be that you are No. 11 in the reserve group. Abisha I'm not eligible to apply for SI scholarship so can't offer any help. |

Fri May 09, 2008 06:21 AM I am admitted to Master in European Law Program as well. Hi Zizva i was just thinking the same thing and i came to know that the university does not provide accomodation for masters sudents. I think we should just find accomodation on-line and book one. |

Fri May 09, 2008 09:03 AM I am admitted to Master in European Law Program as well. abisha, ;) I agree with you. As I know there are some agencies and we should apply to them. Additionally, I wonder have you got in tough with university since admission? I sent an e-mail but they have not answered yet. Abisha, where are you from? Do you need a resident permit? If so, do you have it? :) |

Fri May 09, 2008 02:25 PM I am admitted to Master in European Law Program as well. Zezva, I'm from Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. I have contacted the university after my admission but they seem to be busy and they dont respond back ontime. yes, i need a resident permit and i know that i have to begine processing one at the Swedish embassy here. I heard that they'll take long time. The on-line agencies for hosuing seems to be good and i;m trying to look for one. Hey, whats with the insurance? do u know anything about it? where r u from by the way? [Edited 09 May 2008 by abisha] |

Abisha, I am from Georgia ( Rep.) and I am going to apply for a resident permit as well. What about insurance, as I know I need medical insurence in order to get residence permit. What about other insurences I do not know what we should do. Fri May 09, 2008 03:06 PM I have sent another e-mail to the university today. I hope they will answer soon :) |

What about other insurences I do not know what we should do. well, have u gone through the information on the website? if the study continues for a year and more, you only need a travel insurance; But the embassy here is requesting a medical insurance (whcih is actually confusing....) i have inquired the university and will let u know if they respond..... peace! |

ABisha, about medical insurenece I found the information: For advanced studies (college or university level) that are estimated to be pursued for a period of less than one year a full-coverage health insurance is required. Yesterday, 07:21 AM That is necessary to get resident permit :) Have the university answered to you? Best wishes |

Hi All! As an almost (we're on our way to Master Thesis) alumni of the International Arbitration Program, I can say that:Today, 12:10 PM 1) you should start looking for some accommodation or room in the SSSB network as soon as you are sure you will go to Stockholm - that's a really big problem, here, in Stockholm - previous year I had to live for a 2 weeks in the hotel (and, moreover - I had to change the either the hotel or the room for about 5 times within these 2 weeks, since everything is booked in august). 2)Residence permit is just a year-visa. If you need to apply for it, apply for more period, that stated in your acceptance letter - 1 week prior to commencement of the program and 2 weeks after - you can than come earlier to deal with the apartment problem and go later - enjoy your Schengenen visa and travel though the Europe. 3) You do need a medical insurance for the whole period you wanna get visa for. Medical services are EXTREMELY expensive here :) If you have more questions - you are welcome! :) |
