Hi.

I'm brazilian and I'll apply for the LLM (fall, 2009) in Texas, Lousiana, Indiana and Missouri. Which of these states allow me to take the BAR exam after getting an LLM.

Thank you for your help.

I not sure but i think none of those states allow you to sit on the bar after an LLM, the only ones that allow you to sit on the bar directly from the LLM, from what I know are New York and California

In the interest of accuracy, I recommend that you contact the bar associations for each of these states directly. Additionally, most state bar associations have informative websites which will often assist you with information.

If an association's website seems obscure, then call or email them with your questions regarding bar admission.
