I sent my applications on Feb 27th. I didn't get the notification of completness, since I applied through IIE. GW sent my admission letter on March 26th. and the deadline to accept their offer is april 30.

Thkx,

But I am getting somehow worried now since I received the notification on April 1st and have not heard back from the admission eversince.

Do you think that April 30 deadline is for the first rounder (of acceptance) or is it a deadline for all applications....Coz if it's the case, then...it would mean that I am not admitted....

Man this whole process makes me so nervous. I reckon that I've applied late compared to many applicants but from all my applications (4 in total)...no decision released yet.

I'd better try to remain calm and confident...I've been told that I have a good profile (6 years of experience in 2 different European countries, good uni, grades relatively ok - but after 6 years of work, I would expect that experience matters more than grades, good toefl score, good rec letters, etc...)....sorry to bother with my woes...

Congrats for admission shayan!

hi Luxtax
I am in the same position, except that I applied in early MARCH! So i might be slightly worse off than u...
But as the deadline 4 acceptance of offer is April 30, we may begin to hear something after that

Congrats to those admitted and good luck to those that r waiting!

Hi all
I have concerns regarding housing near GW. I like to live off campus.
And I would be in DC on July 13, should I search now, or I should wait until July to go and see the housing there?
Any suggestions?

Hi Psag and Shayan,

I've also been admitted to GWU! I've just received the admission email and am waiting for the official letter...(I wont believe it until I receive the official letter...).

Good luck to those who are still awaiting for a decision from GWU.

Hi! I am a civil servant from India, and I have been admitted to LLM (Government Procurement Law) at GWU. Would like to know about other students joining this course at GWU.

I was admitted to GW on March 24. I didn't get any e-mail regarding the deposit, but i got information about making an account on the GW Law Web Portal for the admitted students.
Hope it helps!

I got the e-mail confirmation of my deposit on Apr. 29, but nothing about the Portal account thing.......and no I-20 yet. Did anybody receive an I-20 from GWU?

BTW, I sent several e-mails to 3 on-campus apartments, still no replys.
I've already been kinna worried.

Hey the last time i was in the DC area, i didnt bother about longterm housing but i know is not cheap. I think Joshi could be of great help if you inquired. And the estimates provided by the GW are tentative?

Hi all, I have been admitted to GWU and im planning to attend, I have the same worries about housing, but heard that Arlington (accross the bridge) is pretty nice and slightly cheaper, will be looking into all that soon though.

On a side note, would any of you here take University of San Diego with a Scholarship (not full) over GW? I know GW is much better (ranked 20 compared to 84) but its cheaper and a beautiful city.

Your thoughts would be much appreciated.

Thanks

I love the idea of a Uni with partial scholarship but GW is far better in terms of quality of education. So i wouldnt take San Diego.
( I cant believe iam saying that because i needed the scholarship badly but i wasnt successful)

I know what you mean and i think ultimately you only do your Masters degree once, you do not want to waste it on an "average" university, i think GW will be my choice, but ill have to sleep on it for a couple of days, just to make sure i make the right decision.
