I got admitted into the Int'l and Comp Law LLM program in Mid-February. I asked the Graduate Registrar about the tuition deposit, and they told me that more information will be given to us in late May/early June. I suppose it will be around $500.Wed May 14, 2008 02:35 PM I've been in the DC metro area for the last three years, and I can definitely attest to the high cost of living in the area. If you can afford it, buying in the suburbs of MD and VA is a better plan than renting in D.C. |

I wouldnt advise anyone to live in the DC area. But right now that is the least of my problems. I just received the second 'no funds' information from potential sources of funding. Iam now thinking about deferring my LLM... Thu May 15, 2008 05:05 PM Iam too depressed. |

Has anyone not living in the US already found an apartment? I am seriously thinking of getting an apartment in downtown (since it closer, nicer to live etc...), but its pretty expensive, the average apartment is around $1200. It would be great if someone can share their thoughts.

GWU LLM CLASS 2008/2009
Hi everyone.Wed Jul 09, 2008 06:28 PM I just got an acceptance email today for GWU in IP. I initially applied back in Nov, but there was a long delay in getting my transcripts to them. Anyway, I'm a domestic student living near DC (in Baltimore). I don't know what likelihood I assign my entrance at GW until I see whether they are fairly generous with their scholarship money. Right now the US legal market is so bad even for domestics that I'm not sure the full tuition price (plus one year of lost income) would be the best investment at the moment. But I am excited about the prospect! Cheers |
