Could someone please explain to me why people take an LLM program if they aren't allowed to sit for the US bar?

What's the point?

Well, a bar exam in general, and the US bar in particular are not necessarely everyone's goal... Thankfully, there are other options after law studies than just becoming a lawyer. Working in national and international institutions are good opportunities. NGOs also like LLMs. You could also choose to go in research after an LLM.

Hi Juliettellucie,

Do you have examples of international institutions and NGo who hired LLM graduates? and from which LLMs in the US?

Thks

No, I don't actually have examples of hiring, but that's the feeling I get when looking at job ads. As for LLMs in the US, I honestly don't have a clue - try to look at the US board.
