why are you taking the LLM if you can't sit for the bar
Could someone please explain to me why people take an LLM program if they aren't allowed to sit for the US bar?Tue Apr 22, 2008 10:38 PM What's the point? |

Tue Apr 22, 2008 10:42 PM Could someone please explain to me why people take an LLM program if they aren't allowed to sit for the US bar? Well, a bar exam in general, and the US bar in particular are not necessarely everyone's goal... Thankfully, there are other options after law studies than just becoming a lawyer. Working in national and international institutions are good opportunities. NGOs also like LLMs. You could also choose to go in research after an LLM. |
