Working as a lawyer in Australia
Hi there,Sat May 10, 2008 03:26 PM In brief, you will have to convert your law degree from UK (i.e. take a few australian LLB subjects). Thereafter, complete Practical Legal Training, embark on a Bar Practice Course and be under a barrister for a few years before being able to practise as a barrister in Australia. The requirements for a solicitor is slightly easier. Cheers Greg |
