What All is Considered in the Application Process?...TAX LLM

Hi everyone,

I had a few questions about the Tax LLM application process for most schools.

A little background information.....I got my MBA in Taxation from an average Graduate Business School (graduated high honors 3.9), I have passed the CPA exam, but the only problem is that I am only in the top 50% of my law class at a Tier 4 law school. (I got B's in all of my tax courses and I basically took almost every tax or business/estate planning course offered)

I was wondering how most schools would review my application and how much weight they would put on each area. I planned on applying to schools like Villanova, Temple, San Diego, etc. I doubt I will even try at schools like NYU, Georgetown, Florida etc.

Your help would be greatly appreciated!

You should send application to a school of your choice - i mean as per the place and school you would like to study; the rank of your school may not be a determining factor for LL.M admission but your essay, statement of purpose, profile and the letters of recommendations. If you would so like, do not hesitate in applying to Georgetown or Vanderbilt or any other good school for that matter.
