hi there,Sat May 03, 2008 01:23 AM i think queen mary has a good specialistic ip stream with good reputation concerning lecturers; donno about glasgow, edino and ucl. as for manchester, i know the ip stream is pretty good, very specific and with a decent range of topics offered. if u have a look at the website u can see the profile of those who teach in that field. regards |

Thank you for your response vincenzo.Sat May 03, 2008 01:39 PM I am really hope to ba accepted in queen mary. It's for sure my first choice. but if I don't get it it's good to know that manchester is not bad. Sometimes it's difficult to have a full opinion about universities especially when all the lectures and programmes look similar in quality. I really think that what will made a difference is the reputation of the University. |

according to my experience, reputation only counts if u're from abroad and certain universities are more well-known than others. in the uk, reputation won't make a difference especially within top-tier universities (or russel group if u prefere), unless u study in oxbridge of course.
