SI scholarship
If nothing is said about SI scholarship druing admission notification on studera, does that mean that my application for SI scholarship is not sucessful, or at least not forwarded to SI for screening?Sat May 10, 2008 05:54 PM Students that got SI scholarship lastyear got there admittance together with a message that state there application for SI scholarship had been forwarded to SI for overview and they will be contacted by SI if they get the scholarship. Did any one hear from studera(either by email or on there web page)abouot SI scholarship? Is there anyone that heard about it from SI? If you also know how they will handle this case(SI scholarship) please let us know. I got acceptance but I don't want to reply unless I got scholarship. That will also create probability for others that are on the waiting list to use the opportunity. |

Hi RahelSat May 10, 2008 06:47 PM Which program were you accepted to? We got an email from the coordinator for the Human Rights Program and he said that they would be looking at scholarship applications next week and they would send confirmation at at the end of May. |

SI scholarship
I got acceptance in Telecommunication programm but I don't get to reply regarding SI scholarship. So I cannot decide wheter i should go or not.Mon May 12, 2008 04:05 PM Did any one hear from studera( either by email or on there web page) abouot SI scholarship? Is there anyone that heard about it from SI? If you also know how they will handle this case(SI scholarship) please let us know. |

Hi Malam,Mon May 12, 2008 07:08 PM I think scholarship applications are dealt with by the individual universities rather than studera. You should probably email your coordinator. |

Scholarship dates of notification Tue May 27, 2008 11:36 AM For the Guest Scholarship Program, Swedish-Turkish Scholarship Program, Master in Sweden for East Europe, and the Visby Programme applicants will receive notification of admission no later than June 5, 2008. Please note that if you have not received a notification of admission by the mentioned date, you have not been accepted to the scholarship program to which you have applied. |

Tue May 27, 2008 11:44 AM Scholarship dates of notification Hi everybody, I just wanted to give some info i came to know about SI scholarship. Regarding Guest Scholarship, the Swedish Institute handles everything (i think the same is true with other kinds of scholarships as well). The universities has no role in the selection process besides nominating some students for the Institute. So, i dont think there's any use in asking the programe coodinators about the result. The Institute will give notification of nomination and acceptance for the scholarship no later that June 05, 2008 good lukc to you all!!!!! |

Hello…Sun Jun 01, 2008 02:23 PM I am just anxious about the SI scholarship stuff … I am nominated for the Guest Scholarship and waiting for the SI’s result…..the days are turning to centuries overhere…lol So are they going to inform me just on 5th of June or before that? The bad thing is if they fail to do so I will know that I am not selected for the scholarship…bad mayn…there is not even an e-mail informing me that I am not getting it… Anyways is there any one who was nominated and is informed about the final result? If any please give me a shot….I am getting panicky as the day is approaching Thank you! |

Mon Jun 02, 2008 03:00 PM Hello… Hi Ocean, nice to hear that u've been nominated. i am as well nominated for Guest Scholarship and for me, the days are longer than centuries......lol They communicated to me through e-mail and i'm waiting for any further e-mail from then (if there is any, that means i got it and if not.......) Their official web-site says notification will be given out until June 05. well, i heard competition is very high and they are kinda picky in course and country of origin........ anyways, good luck to us all !!!! |

Hi all nominees since the date was changed i have not received a notification on the scholarship. they said it will be on the 11th june 2008 and unto the time of wi=rting i have not recieved any mail.Wed Jun 11, 2008 04:54 PM my fellow Ghanian nominees are all too restless like me. has any nominee received any admission into the scholarship (guest scholarship)? Hey Dudes, My “inbox” is experiencing the greatest hits of all times… I am checking my mail almost every second and staring at my PC for hours but…I can not see that email…. What an agony…lets keep the fingers crossed and see if there is one in the coming few minutes…if it has to come, should come in the coming few minutes[max an hour]..if not….Ooohhh my…. It is terribly crazy to wait too much…I mean too much like we are waiting for the email of SI… Cheers… |
