SI scholarship
Thanks ocean for the strategy.Wed Jun 11, 2008 06:05 PM for me i when they say 11 june i am not using the Ghanian time but the swedish time and right now it 7.7 pm No office is open now in swden. Hay Ocean are you still sure we will get it? i am panicky and hope to be the SI boss instructing them to work till 1 am in the morning |

it is close to mid night in sweden, so let us wait perhaps they might extend the date again. but if not we are doomed and suck up in our dreams.

Guys my programme admin told me today that I had not received the SI scholarship.Wed Jun 11, 2008 07:05 PM It appears that the universities now have the information and that if one has received the scholarship the appropriate information would be in the studera nu inbox. genep did they really told you that?Wed Jun 11, 2008 08:10 PM my programme cordinator said they ahve not received any information concerning the outcome of the scholarship. that they ill contact the successful and unseccesful applicants. they will just receive a copy of what they sent to us (i mean the programme cordinator will receive a copy). |

Hey guys thanks a lot.Wed Jun 11, 2008 09:37 PM From my perspective, it appeared to me that whatever decision SI made was simulataneously made available to the universities so that if one is either successful or not the university knew of it also at the same time. This could mean for example that if one did not get the scholarship the programme coordinator would 'know' of it since that candidate's name would not be among the successful ones. Since SI does not contact unsuccessful candidates, the studera nu account would be empty for unsuccessful applicants like me. I could be wrong but I do know that I did not succeed in this one. Good luck to those of you who still have chances. |

Fired up!!Wed Jun 11, 2008 10:17 PM Ready to go!! I am kinda so happy! God bless SI! The decision they made is absolutely perfect! Anyone that has a compliant against the decision they made must be not competitive enough to get it. They grant only for those that deserve it! I finally, finally made it! It is so sweet to have a break through after such a long and tiresome wait. I can now rest in peace. Viva SI! Good luck for sverge! I wish Sweden(specifically SI) to lift trophy on Euro 2008! As always, God damn America! For those who can’t share the joy with me today, it will probably come at some time before the end of august. SI is not predictable and I think they want to make everything to be as a surprise gift than being anticipated. June the full! You are punked! ( I was kidding) No SI! No nothing! Just a cool dream! |

Master's programs participating in the SI master scholarship process provides the Swedish Institute with a shortlist of applicants who has applied for a scholarship. The Swedish Institute makes the final selection on the basis of the specific criteria for the each scholarship program.Wed Jun 11, 2008 11:57 PM Decisions are finalized during May/June 2008 and communicated to all shortlisted applicants with a copy to the master's program coordinator at the Swedish University. Dear colleagues,Thu Jun 12, 2008 07:35 PM Early morining I spoke directy with a Swedish Institute officer. From what I understand of the conversation, the decissions have not been yet released. However, since all this is very confusing, I still wonder if any one has received any news, either directly from SI or their program coordinator. Best regards to all. |

Hi all the Si scholoarship nominates. I'm from IRAN and i have been admited for UPD master program in KTH university. I am a Si scholarship nominate too. as a matter of fact , I have visited this discussion frum ,from 3th jun to now. but there is no good news still. when the coordinator of UPD program nominated me for Si scholarship, he said that the chance is too sleem because this yea the focus will be on eastern Erupe and Turky.by the way as far as I know no one from the KTH university including program cordinators or instructors have recieved the notification till now. most of them adviced me to wait some more days.Fri Jun 13, 2008 12:48 PM best wishes for all! |

to use the facebook URL one must have an active facebook account. it is free to subscribe. congrat to all those who got it. The information that said the concentration is on eastern europe and Turkey is not true. there is a scholarship for eastern europe and turkey they are different from that of the Guest programme. Due to the delays from Studera in publishing the admission notification it has created some administrative work load for SI which willl take about the end of this month to clear. so i believe the last day to receive the notification willl be next week. (between 20 and 27 june).

The selection process for scholarships is now finalized and we regret to inform you that we cannot offer you a scholarship this year.
