Is necessary to apply...?
Hi everybody, does anybody if is neccesary to have finished your law degree in order to apply for an LLM?Sat May 17, 2008 03:18 PM I hope to finish my law degree the next year (2008-2009) and I want to know if I could to start to apply for an LLM in early 2009 (march, april...). As far as I know you can apply before you actually got your degree, at least I know a couple of people you did so... but maybe you just should contact your perspective school and that will be the most certain answer... udachi

In Belgium most students who want to pursue an LLM apply for it when they're in their final year; it's the rule rather than the exception. Some universities require (or prefer) a few years of experience though, so their chances for these universities diminish.
