I Need specific information on tuition and living costs in Texas !

Hi !

I'm planning to continue study abroad for LL.M in Texas next year since I have relatives from my country who just moved there, right now I'm kind of curious about how much money do I really need to prepared to survive living in US for one year? I mean, the global inflation around the world really affects everyone, I'm worried if the estimation given in this website is not accurate anymore...

 Thx

i did my ll.m at UT last year and aside from tuition, I lived on my own far from campus (i had a car) and rent was $600. bills about $200. food, fun...etc. prob $400 a month but this depends on your spending.
also, you could live in riverside and share an apt. for about $400 a month with bills included. there's a shuttle bus that takes you directly to campus and back.

Did you like UT Law? Did you like living in Austin?

loved UT Law - the teachers were fantastic, course options many, the students...a mix of obnoxious elite and the free-spirited...probably an empasis on the obnoxious elite. but i'm sure all law schools share this composite.

I do like austin; however, I was there as an undergrad when the city felt smaller and a bit more hippie-ish. then again, this time i was at the law school. overall, i recommend the law school highly.

I graduated from UT Law and just loved the law school and Austin. Alot of good memories. Austin has changed since then. Larger with more traffic. I still think that it is a great city though.
