Berkeley - letters of recommendation
Fri Jun 27, 2008 08:45 AM
I am consdidering applying to Berkeley for 2009/10 and I am already preparing what I need for my application.

However, I have one question concerning the letters of recommendation. According to its webiste, UIC Berkeley prefers three letters of recommendation preferably from law professors. As I am working now for about 3 years, I think it might be more interesting to send two letters from professors and 1 of my current employer (partner of an international law firm with offices in the US).

It would be great if you could state what you think about this idea or if you think that I should definitely only send letter from professors.

Many thanks!
