I have a place offered at Edinburgh and Kings College but want to know if anyone has some constructive input on which to choose? By the way I also have been offered a scholarship for at least my fees at Edinburgh, this shouldn't reallly alter things but it has slightly. HELP please cbdg

Personally I would go for King's, competition law there is brilliant - if that is something you are interested in. I'm not too sure on Edinburgh though, sorry, it's never really appealed to me. With the scholarship the cost difference between the two shouldn't be that much so it depends on what you want to study really?

EDINBURGH!!! Much nicer city! and an impressive Law School building. And a bit cheaper, also. If reputation is important for you, Edinburgh should be equal to KCL, as well.

If you have a scholarship to Edinburgh this will definitely affect your overall expenditure on the year. Living in Edinburgh is much cheaper than London. Getting around is decidedly less expensive. Edinburgh is strong in many areas of law with the LLM so if it offers a programme that you find suitable to your academic interests I would highly suggest it.
I did both my LLM and my PhD at Edinburgh, choosing Edinburgh over London both times. Partly due to cost of living and partly due to the excellent faculty at Edi. Never once have I looked back.
Best of luck!
