LLM rating
Hey!Tue May 10, 2005 11:00 AM I recently got accepted to two (I believe) very good LLM's, that is the Pallas LLM and the ILF Frankfurt am Main. Both of them have interesting programs, however I don't know which one to choose, as there are no ratings comparing LLM's from different countries. I appreciate greately for any opinions or information. Thanx |

As you will of course know, the ILF Frankfurt LLM specializes in finance law whereas Pallas offers a more generalized LLM in European business law. Your choice will thus depend to a great extent on what your career plans are. Do you already have an idea where you want to work?

Well,Wed May 11, 2005 08:46 AM Thanx for the reply. Both of the programs fit my future career plans, as both of them are focused on business law, though as you said, the ILF is specialized in finance. I was wondering about if you had any information concerning the level of education, as both claim to be excellent (which I believe they are), nevertheless you might have information from external sources which would make the choice easier (i.e. maybe you know somebody who has attended one of the llms or who wanted to). |

I am afraid that I do not have any personal experience myself with these programs. All I know is from the websites which I find quite useful as they offer detailed information about the teaching staff etc. I especially like the alumni area of the Pallas website...Wed May 11, 2005 05:29 PM Did you read the other board discussions about these programs? |
