please guide how to for llm
hello everyone, i did my llb in india in 2002, then got married and came to uk, because of family commitments i couldnt persume any career. now my son is 22 months ,so i thought i will do llm in distance learning, but dont know where and how to start. so please help me guys. thanks for your reply in advance. bytheway i live in nottingham.

I think UCL has a distance learning programme. No comment on the debate about how a distance learning LL.M. is viewed, but it's at least a school to start your research. Nottingham also has an LL.M. programme, don't they?

I believe you can add Edinburgh onto that list as well. Oh, and Cardiff if you fancy an LLM in Canon Law!

Edinburgh has several distance programmes from which to choose. www.law.ed.ac.uk/ahrc/teaching/index.aspxThu Aug 28, 2008 10:33 AM It is the only programme with which I am familiar as far as distance learning so I can tell you that it has an extremely dedicated staff and the faculty are the same if you were actually on campus taking the classes. You need to consider what type of LLM you want...then start searching for the school so that you find the best programme to suit you. |

thank you guys. i saw the ediburgh university link and pretty satisfied but still i wil do some more research. by the way P_martini what does it mean no comment on how dis.lear. is viewed. is distance learning llm is not recognized much? is it not valuable like the regular llm.

Hi. I would suggest you to apply for University of London Ll.M. program. It is one of the top rated programmes in the world. You can also try Aberdeen and Edinburgh. Hi ramarsita Today, 06:56 AM I am a current student at the University of Nottingham and have just completed the LLM. I was thoroughly satisfied with the course and impressed with the wide range of academic and practical expertise of the staff within the law school. I believe that it is possible to complete the LLM part time and would encourage you to look into this if you are still intending to apply for an LLM at a UK university! |
