LL.M in Auckland / practicing Law in New Zealand

Hi,

I'm french and I intend to apply for admission for the University of Auckland LL.M.

I have two questions.

Firstly, does anyone know if this programme is very demanding ? I don't mind working hard at all but, were I admitted, I would like to be able to find a part-time job. Does that sound feasible to you ?

Secondly, until now, I have studied Law in France, which is a Civil Law country. Would it be possible for me to practice Law in New Zealand with only a New Zealand LL.M (Visa issues set aside) ?
For now, I do not intend to settle down in New Zealand since I've never been there. But I wonder, if after this year I wanted to stay and find a job, would it be possible ?

I thank in advance anyone that could enlighten me.
