King's College -- Completing the application form?
Hello everybody, I am about to graduate my LL.B. in March 2009 but my transcripts may not complete in the time of the closing date for complete applications -- 31 March 2009.Mon Sep 22, 2008 03:15 PM So, Can I send my application form, reference letter, IELTS scores and my unfinishing transcripts before and send the complete transcripts later ?(I think my transcripts will be complete in Mid April.) Thank you. |

If you haven't completed your LL.B they ask for a predicted grade and will offer you a conditional place on the basis of a 2:1 (most probably). They will then expect you to send them your transcripts to demonstrate your achieving that grade before they will allow you to fully accept/enrol.

Sorry, a 2:1 is the UK entry requirements for Kings. If you have checked that your qualifications/predicted grade equal what is expected by them then there wont be any problems.

Sorry S_Dimelow about my being fussy, but could you explain about the UK entry requirements for Kings again please. [I am a foreign student.] Do the UK entry requirements for Kings are for the UK students or it is the general entry requirements for all prospect students. Mon Sep 22, 2008 06:00 PM Thank You Very Much For Your Kindness. |

Sorry, I didn't write exactly what I was thinking. If you have checked that you meet the requirements for KCL for the nation you are from (eg. if you are US and they ask for a GPA of 3.5) and you meet those then the chances are they will offer you a conditional offer on that level. A 2:1 is only applicable to UK students but presumably what ever they ask of you will be comparable in some way.
