Hi friends...

I also have submitted my online application but no email confirming that my application is "received+completed". I think the Registrar's Certification is the only one meterial that has not been reached!

I am a dead end. Is it the same to you??

I received my application complete confirmation email this morning.
It took GULC a few days to send it so don't worry.

Laodeshu, keep your hopes up! In case your recommendations have been lost now, have you considered of applying regular action?
I called the Graduate Admissions Office and they were able to confirm that my application is complete :)
I am from Finland. Nokina, where are you from?

still no news from the post office..grrr...
GULC told me that they still haven't received anything.. my hopes are falling apart
but i just got admitted to Duke, actually, which makes me feel better :) although GULC was my first choice... oh well...

i keep my finger crossed for you guys!

FYI. I contacted the Admission Office, they said this Friday is not a hard deadline. As long as the pending meterials are to be reached within the early next week, you shall be considered as Early Action.

Now I'm waiting for the confirming email too.... with fingers crossed.....

CONGRATULATIONS!! Wowww you already got admitted to Duke while the rest of us still await some good news!! I am really happy for you. Well, hope your GULC materials will arrive soon and you'll get admitted to GULC as well ;)

Just an update... I have got a confirmation email from GULC just mins ago.

VERY HAPPY now... though it is not an acceptance notice yet!!

Georgetown seems to be a popular university as lots of people are applying to it...however, just out of curiosity, how are you people intending to fund it? Through loans and savings?

Guys, I got a question about PSs.

In personal statements, did you talk only about your background, accomplishments, and goals (which is, by the way, obvious from the resume).

Or did you talk about a significant life experience that influenced your mind/life (eg. an internship or a person that made a change)?

I think that I would like to write about a significant person in my life - my hero. But I am not sure whether I am on the right track.

What guys did you write about?
