Hey, LLM-ates!
I'm thinking of applying for the EMLE - European LLM programe in Law and Economics. Anybody here who could give me any references? And anybody here who's up to it, too? Would be nice to share ideas and info. We're all kind of on the same boat here, right?

Looking fwd to hearing from anyone and everyone.
Cheers!

Hey, and welcome onboard :) Im also an EU student and you seem to be right with the end of March deadline. Hamburg and Bologna are among my favourites as well. Btw they seem to have limited places for students from each EU-country, and additionally they sort of give way to third-countries-students, it seems. Anyway good luck to all of us!

Thanks for your opinion, Sydney, it's important to know about the down-sides as well. Could you perhaps specify your bad experience more? I'm actually interested in hearing about what kind of ppl were your class-mates, about the accommodation, and about the program in general.
Thanks.

Hey,
I'm also thinking about following the EMLE.
I didn't saw Sydneys post, but now I'm a bit curious... could you pm it to me please? because also negative opinions interest me and that isn't something you find on their site ;)
And then maybe a stupid question, is there any disadvantage of waiting with the application till March? Because that's when I will receive my English certificate...

Greetz,
Philippe

Well, correct me if I'm wrong, but according to the official site, deadline for 3d country nationals (basically outside the EU) is 15th of December and 31 of March fro EU citizens and several other countries. So yeah, it may be late.
But still, it's just how the site says - I am also considering attending this programme this year, but might not get all the documents in time. Deadline for me is 15th of December.

I'm thinking of applying to EMLE for the next academic year. If anyone has any personal experience to share (i.e. how to prepare application documents, references and personal statement), would be very grateful for any advice. Thanks much!
