Required : Info on University of Swinburne
Hi everyone,Thu Jan 08, 2009 06:40 AM I am presently pursuing my LLB in India and very much interested in applying either for an LLM or Master of International Business. As i tried zeroing in on Universities, I stumbled upon Univ of Swinburne in relation to Master of Intl. Business. I would like to know the reputation of this University worldwide and the opportunities I would have after my course completion. If anyone is well versed with the present Global Economic Scenario (especially the present economic scene in Australia), then please do advise me on pursuing a maters in intl. business too ,as i am really skeptical regarding the employment opportunities post course completion. Awaiting your replies Shree |

Hello Shree,Fri Jan 09, 2009 06:44 AM Is there a particular reason why you have chosen University of Swinburne? For example, your relatives might reside nearby or you have some affiliation to the university, directly or indirectly. If not, I think there are other universities out there which may be more prestigious and would provide you with the much needed competitive edge in obtaining employment opportunities after graduating (as the economy is poor at the moment). You should probably be looking at "Group of 8" universities which include University of Melbourne, University of Sydney, University of Queensland etc etc. Based on memory, they do offer an International Business Masters. Their law schools are also considerably more reputable. Cheers, Greg |
