I'm in the same position i.e. proceeding with UPenn but still waiting for a final decision from Columbia as I'm placed on their wait-list.. they also say that I might hear of the decision by the end of May. The wait is killing me! If you get admitted to NYU, are u definitely going to drop UPenn? and what are the reasons? In term of ranking, there is not much difference (except yep, being in the tope 5 and top 7) so just want to know the perspective of someone in a similar situation. Thanks!
