What are your thoughts on doing a Maritime Law LL.M. from the University of London (External Programme) and then maybe qualifying at the New York Bar (for which most LL.B. graduates are eligible). With maritime law around the world being based on English (common) law, the latter came to my mind as most commodities trading, for which shipping is obviously also required, is done in US$.
