Hello! Does anyone know details about the Cardiff University? I would like to know whether it is a good university or not, and if someone has a relevant experience it would be really helpful too!

Thank you very much Mohammad! That's great news because I didn't know whether to send an application form there or not!

Hi thessaloniki

I have studied law at Cardiff University in 2000/2001 (however, not in a postgraduate program but in the "Erasmus" exchange program). I would consider the university as being quite good, I also think that is has not a bad reputation among the universities in the U.K.

Cardiff is a nice and safe place to live - a lot of international students and various opportunities for out of uni activities. When I was there in 2000/2001 also the living expenses were not as high as in other cities in the U.K.

If you require further information (also about halls of residence, etc.) just contact me!

Hello, Does anyone currently studying LLM or have the expericence of the LLM Programs study in Cardiff university? I am thinking to study LLM in Cardiff 2005, so I would like to know will they give a lot of examinations or assignment? and does it very hard to get the degree? As in my opinons, Law requires the person who study it should be very intelligent and eloqent. It is really a pressure on me. Thanks!

well, i have not studied at Cardiff. but i do know some people who have studied there. well, its a good university however it is not ranked mong the top law schools.
as regard the pressure and work to be put in well, a masters degree is always demanding and a masters degree in law is all the more demanding. a lot of reference, reading and asignments have to be undertaken. so be prepared to put in hard work and long hours. further its a one year programme so i guess its intensive.
all the best.

Hello! I am an international student from Texas who is currently studying in Cardiff at the law school. Here is the program from my course of studies:

I love the city, the classes, the costs, the support, my fellow students, and the law school. I speak from experience, and my heart, when I say that it has been wonderful! I highly recommend the University!
