You can still have a great life...many do without hls, sls or whatever law school...good luck to everyone for the future... They are still giving out admission offers?!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! STILL SOME HOPE !!!!

I know of many people who got into YLS but failed to get into HLS; and ditto the converse (let's be frank - the admissions process can sometimes be wholly idosyncratic). Though I know it is difficult to do so now, try your best to not perceive the admission/rejection process as posing questions about your own identity (a rejection from YLS does not mean you're any less of a law teacher than you were before) and see this as a unique and valuable challenge: you now have the opportunity to go to HLS and prove to the doubters that they made a mistake - not many people have that opportunity, especially in one of the top schools (or to many, the top school) in the US like HLS. Hope you feel better and, though I'm not personally invested in this either way, I do hope you take up the opportunity to excel at HLS!
