equivalence french -british studies

Could anyone said to me the equivalent in British system of that below: Maîtrise mention assez bien Licence mention bien Diplôme d’études Universitaires Générales mention passable

There is no equivalence for a DEUG the equivalent of a licence is - an LLB in the UK, Ireland & Canada - a JD in the US the equivalent of a maîtrise is - the first year of the Msc in the UK & Ireland - the MLitt (which is the first year of a PhD in the UK & Ireland - this would a maîtrise with a focus on research) - a JD in the US and an LLM is the equivalent of a French DESS (though now DESSs don't exist anymore, they're called Master 2) Hope it was helpful !
