There is no equivalence for a DEUG the equivalent of a licence is - a LLB in the UK, Ireland & Canada - a JD in the US the equivalent of a maîtrise is - the first year of the Msc in the UK & Ireland - a JD in the US and an LLM is the equivalent of a French DESS (though now DESSs don't exist anymore, they're called Master 2) Hope it was helpful !
