I believe that the lobby and open study rooms are also on the ground floor. As for sunlight and a view from the ground floor, it will depend upon which direction your unit faces. Unless your unit's windows are on the south side, you won't have much of a view or much sunlight. In any event, you won't have to use the elevator much.
