Not sure how much help this will be but I did my u/g in Galway and I lived with a girl who did the LLM in HR. Galway is a great place to study. Its small enough that you can walk practically everywhere and the nightlife is fantastic. On the negative side the library could do with more space and the admin side of things can be frustrating. In terms of the LLM itself the faculty at the HR Centre is fantastic. Bill Scabhas has published so much I often wonder does he have any time to sleep and I have heard positive comments about many other lecturers there. My housemate spoke highly of the fact that students came from many different disciplines and also said that there was alot of practical help available in terms of advice on achieving whatever longterm goals the students had. The fact that it is the Centre for Human Rights in Ireland is probably also a good thing. I have no clue about Queens though.
