Comments needed on my issue.

I got a conditional Offer from UCL that I have to graduate my LL.B. with the GPA of 3.3/4

My university only provides percentage scores. I was writing my last exams when I applied to UCL. My av.score was 67%. In any case, it won't dramatically increase. I believe 67% is likely to be less than GPA of 3.00.

The question is that, is the offer from UCL a reject or simply an offer that I will receive a place at the end? How strict are they with the condition they gave?

I really dream of studying in UCL.

You are lucky to have an offer. I am still waiting for mine. Actually you give me some hope for myself. I think UCL really wants you to push yourself for the finals... I could imagine if you are not far from what they expected they will still let you in. Do you mind telling me when your offering letter is dated? And which stream you applied for? Anyway good luck and all the best.

March 25 is dated in the offering letter. Just got the post last Friday. I applied the LL.M. in International Banking and Finance but the offer was LL.M. (Law). Perhaps you get the specialization when you select the subjects and write your paper.

Statistically, there is no way that I will achieve that GPA from the moment I sent my application which I only have 3 out of 40 subjects left. I am very scared that this is the rejection letter in a smooth way.

Let me hear how some of you think? Are there still chances that I will be in?

Hi Villieboy I do think you have high changes of getting in. Just push yourself and try to get the maximum grade in those 3 subjects you have left.

I think that if they see you pushed yourself and did your best unless you may not get the 3 GPA they are asking for, they will still let you in.

BELIEVE ME,,they are not rejecting you in a smooth way hehe there is no such thing for big and prestigious universities like UCL,,they simple reject and thats its,,they have pleny and thousand,,,remember thousand of applicants that also want to be accepted,,so if they gave you a conditional offer is because they consider you have a great potential and that you could be a great asset and a great represenation of their university in your home country and worldwide...

just be positive and try to do your best in your exams,,they will take that into consideration!!!

Hi,

I am a non-US third year law student from a TOP 20/25 law school in the US.

My current GPA is about 3.36 and I expect (hope) that it will increase to 3.4/3.45 at the end of this semester.

I would like to receive some advice as to whether I should apply for the UCL LLM now (with a lower GPA) or in the middle of January (hopefully, with a higher GPA).
