Legal Practice Course
Hi, Mon May 04, 2009 11:57 PM I completed a LLB in England in 2008 and have since moved to New Zealand. I am wanting to continue my education here so i can practice law. Could anyone inform me which course i need to take next to practice here. Thanks, H |

Your best bet would be to select the district where you would like to practice and contact the relevant Law Society there for more information :) There do not appear to be many NZ lawyers on this thread so someone with expertise on this question might take awhile to appear!

Legal Practice Course
Hi,Sun Sep 13, 2009 05:24 PM I am about to complete my University of London External LLB. I am doing a graduate route which consists of 9 papers. I have done Contract, CommonLaw, Public Law, Criminal law, Land law and trust law. I will be taking my tort, European union and family law papers next year. Would like to know if I could qualify to do my bar in order to practice in Australia? Is the Legal practice Course the course we take to qualify to practice? |
