Note: there are no other Canada Research Chairs in any field related to Law and Technology. The regular number of Graduate students enrolled per year in the program is around 15 students. This year we have only 10 in class. But I advise you to also take a look in other programs. Of course the University of Ottawa is not the only option. Specially if you want to focus Intellectual Property Law. For instance, McGill has its Centre for Intellectual Property Law and Policy, and Toronto has its Centre for Innovation Law and Policy. Both have an outstanding Faculty and very interesting projects. Both are very reputable and are... in Toronto. The LLB program at UWO has a specialization in IT / IP law so it might be worth looking at throwing in an application... Professor Wilkinson heads up the IP department and she is an excellent prof.
