Dear All,

Which is better in getting a job at the EU Institutions for a LLM in EU Law: College of Europe or other UK Law School?

College of Europe in Bruges is the best for European law and for getting a job at the EU institutions! :-)

Let's certainly hope so... I had my mind divided between CoE and some UK Colleges, to do a LLM in EU Law...specifically, I wanted EU competition law, since that's the area I've been working on for the last couple of years...got accepted at CoE for the 2009/2010 academic year, and I hope I made the right choice... (I'll have my answer at the end of the LLM...)

You won't go wrong with the College of Europe, but I think the top law schools in the UK are great also.

Might be better for networking though, to be between people with all the same aspirations (hence College of Europe).

For EU law the College of Europe remains the reference. If you think UK, however, Professor Whish at King's College London is one of the leading academics.

But Wish also teaches at CoE...as well as Damien Geradin, and many other prominent scholars/professionals on the EU/Competition Law world...
