German Law Schools req's?
Hi!Mon Jun 01, 2009 06:53 PM I'm from Chile and I'm in my fifth and last year of Law at the best law school in my country, Universidad de Chile. I'm an average student, but I got great work experience and recommendations, and I'm considering studying an LL-M in Germany. How hard is to get into an LL-M there, compared to entering to a Law School in USA or the UK???? (any respectable Law School...I was thinking of Tübingen, Konstanz or Passau) |

I can recommend the new LL.M. Programme "Master of Laws in Corporate Restructuring" at the University of Heidelberg. It is all about legal and business aspects of corporate restructuring at one of the most outstanding law schools in Germany!Wed Jun 03, 2009 10:10 AM (www.llm-corp-restruc.de) |

In which field do u want to do ur LLM? For example for European Law I would recommend the Saarland University, for Banking and Finance go to Frankfurt (ILF)...In general, German law schools all have a very high standard as they are all monitored by the Ministry of Justice. So, to my eyes you should also have a look at the cities themselves, which often differ a lot. To my eyes some of the nicest German cities are Hamburg (two very good Unis!), Berlin (also two very good Unis!), Munich (München), Cologne (Köln), Bonn, Heidelberg and Münster. Konstanz and Passau are nice cities, as well, but very conservative and quite far away from the rest of the world and pretty small..but great Unis also!
