I am going to Madrid to IE's LLM in International Legal Practice, and off course I am very excited with the program.

Is there anybody out there who is going too?

Have you looked for houses, etc?

Hi!

Dont know nothing about the LLM, so I cant share an opinion about it...I CAN give you a quick tip on housing in Madrid...start looking for a house/shared room ASAP... Most of the students that are not from Madrid are now leaving or will be leaving soon, which means that right now you'll have a lot more places to choose from... so your best bet is to start looking now, and you'll find better places to stay... Some pages to look for housing:

www.idealista.com
www.fotocasa.es
www.enalquiler.com

Good luck

EDIT: acabei de ver noutro post teu que és português! :) Fico feliz em ver mais compatriotas em apostar por um (melhor) futuro fora do "mundinho" lusitano... Boa sorte!

Thanks for the tip.

Can you give a price estimate on how much will I pay for house near IE?

Are you working in Madrid? Studying? Are you a Lawyer?

Desculpa o interrogatorio estilo PIDE, mas como não vou ter muito tempo para tratar destas coisas todas queria ver se adiantava trabalho!

Hi,

Madrid is a rather expensive city. You should expect at least 400€ a month for a decent room. If you want a nice one, and near the IE building, it may cost you a bit more.

Anyway, instead of looking it on your own, try contacting IE since they may offer special housing for students at special prices or near the IE

I hope you enjoy Madrid

kind regards

Like the previous person said...at least 400€ for a room in a shared flat...(400 - for a good room in good conditions...you can get a room for less, but probably it would be a worst place...).

More info sent via PM.

Regards

Thanks for the tip.

Thanks everybody.

So no one is going to IE this year...

Well and for the ones living in Madrid, maybe we will meet this year...

See you Madrid!

Hi, we might overlap a bit, I just accepted to IE and will be joining on February. I was wondering if you could help me with logistics, kind of like where to look for apartments (I will move there with my husband, he's now looking for a job as well).
