[HELP!] LLM without a jd or llb?..
Hi, people.Sat Jul 18, 2009 03:52 PM i'm a international student and i wanna apply LLM in the US. but i don't have a law degree or any kind of law work experience. Is there any universities which have LLM programm without a law degree or work experience? Could you give me a list of these universities~~?! THX A LOT!!!. [Edited by sniperking66 on 18 Jul 2009] |

the only way to be admitted in LLM program is to enroll in a dual major program such as MBA/ LLM , JD/ LLM ,,. etc Sat Jul 18, 2009 05:55 PM not less than 4 years :( |

Sat Jul 18, 2009 06:24 PM the only way to be admitted in LLM program is to enroll in a dual major program such as MBA/ LLM , JD/ LLM ,,. etc MY GOOOOOOOD.~!!. but i heard some universities accept students who have not law degrees, just like us, now i'm trying to find these unis out. :) |

may be there is a l little hope Sat Jul 18, 2009 07:01 PM if you know some one studying in the same university you wanna apply for, he will help you by asking the admission center personally. keep going and let me know if you find a solution :) |

I want to get a law degree as soon as possible, no matter in US or UK.. LLM is a one-year program, so i'm planning this. And I'm going to be a lawyer after LLM, if I can succesfully apply LLM program. I'm learning Russian language in my college now, i'm going to graduate next year, so i don't have any kinds of background, and this is what i'm really worry about. This is my situation, could you please give me some more suggestions?? |

I know that i can't be a lawyer after LLM in UK or US, but I'm going to bring the degree back to my home country, and work there. Degree of LMM is useful here. I think my situation is a little different from others. My dad is a lawyer, and he has a law firm, he'll retire after 3 maybe 4 years, and he wants me to work in his firm. So work is not a problem, all I need is a degree. Mon Jul 20, 2009 02:21 PM I've been in Russia for 1 year, honestly, I don't like studying in that country, though she is very beautiful. So I'm not planning stay there one more year.~I'm a Chinese student by the way. Your info is very helpful to me!! Can I just send email to these unis to ask if they accept student like me? |
