Internationl Business and Commercial Law or European Business Law?

Dear Friends,

I find myself in the dilemma that I cannot decide between the University of Manchester and the University of Essex (Pallas LLM)..

I feel that the University of Manchester has overall a far greater reputation than the University of Essex has. Is it true for the Law departments as well?

The Pallas LLM sounds very interesting with lecturers around Europe coming to lecture, and trips to firms in London during the year. Also it has a much smalller number of students. Whereas the LLM in Manchester takes in around 100 students for the course.

Any students having studied either courses, hearing from you would be a great help. I have got to decide by tomorrow, and as I said I am unable to reach any decision.

Thanks and best wishes.

Manchester all the way.

It has a very good reputation and it is a top law school in the UK. Course selection is very good and it is supported by most of the top firms in the UK

It is an easy decision.

The city is very lively, student friendly and a great night out
