Hello,

I have a quick question... I know that some UK Universities require LLM students to have a minimum grade. For instance, at KCL they require 70% for a Belgian law degree.

I wonder if this condition is strictly observed?

Also, do you know if a degree of "distinction/cum laude", that is to say an average between 70-80% and which is probably equivalent to "mention bien" in France, for a Master degree in Belgium is acceptable to KCL, QM, UCL or LSE?

Thank you for your help.! :-)

Yes i think its ok,,but you have to write to the unis and ask them to be sure,,,,at least that what i did when i was applying to ucl cause i wasnt sure about my qualification because we have a different grading system so just ask them or call them they will suure help you

maybe somebody else can give you another answer

good luck :)

Thank you Pucca for your reply :-)

I hope that a Master degree with cum laude would be sufficient for KCL, UCL, QC or LSE. I think that a law degree in Belgium has a "good reputation" in Europe...

It would be interesting to know if the unis have quotas. For example, if they have a maximum places for Western European students...

Hi Pucca. Actually I really want to apply to KCL and to UCL. I don't expect to get into LSE, so it will be a waste of time. Especially when it is difficult to get reference letters...
Which program did you apply to? Did you have any work experience when you applied?
Thanks :-)
