Are there any chances of getting in the top universities if i have only one published paper and havent done any mooting during my LLB? Or they wont even look at my application?Sat Oct 03, 2009 03:13 PM What u say? P.S. I was amongst the top 10% in my LLB class, have one year experience and one internship in UN |

Hi Dimpy:Sun Oct 04, 2009 03:02 AM I just graduated with an LLM from a university which is ranked within 40 in the US. I think you Statement Of Purpose and your Recommendation Letters play a major role in selection process. Thanks KeerthiDeep |

Thanks, a ton!!!!Sun Oct 04, 2009 07:38 AM It gives me an idea abt the heavy weightage docs. Keerthi, i would be really glad if u could take out some time to write few lines abt your LLM experience. Is LLM worth for anyone who has keen interest in Research?(less in teaching),Coz its also abt the huge loans which have to be repaid later on. U think it was worth the effort for u? Regards, Dimpy |

I believe this is not a bad profile at all (especially your experience with the UN sounds impressive). But if you want to do research (and an LLM) I would recommend you to try an LLM with research focus (like SPILS).
