Graduated from Greece in the top 10% and have an LLM from a top- four U.K. university with distinction. One year work experience. Last year admitted to UCLA and deferred it. I would like to ask you whether Northwestern, Georgetown, Penn and Michigan are realistic goals for me; Thanks!And by the way do you know how much hour on average a foreign LLM is required to devote to his studies(I guess it will be a lot), but I get scared when I hear people telling me that they don't sleep

If I were you, I would have a go at the Top Five as well -- Harvard, Yale, Stanford, Columbia, and New York University. With your overall academic and work credentials, the schools you named should not be out of your reach.

I did my graduate study in the UK a long time ago. In those days, I was required to do coursework (two essays for each subject) as well as sit for a three-hour exam. Now academic performance is mostly assessed by either coursework or exam. I am not suggesting that it was tougher during those days. I surely had time to sleep -- but no holiday whatsoever!

I know what you are saying. LLMs in the UK are rather boring and not intermediate. That's exactly why I will choose for the US. Thanks

LLMs in the US and in the UK are very comparable in terms of their "academic experience:, you sit with JD/LLBs (respectively) and whether a course is interesting or not depends on the School itself, the particular course work, and the instructors. In this respect, it doesn't matter if it is in the US or UK.
