Dear all,

Does any one of you know what the following status mean?

'Your application is ready for review by the Admissions Committee. If, your application was complete by February 1, you should receive a written decision by the next 8 to 12 weeks.'

Does it mean 8-12 weeks after 1 Feb or after the date on which your application is complete for committee review?

Dear friend

Based on my personal experiance cornell will send you a hard copy of its decision 8-12 weeks after your status change to complete. don't worry.

Hey,

I also have the "complete" status...BUT...I have NOT sent in my letters of recommendation yet!!!

How could my application be complete already?
Or do they give a "complete" status without recommendation letters?

I was really surprised to get the completion email.
Anyone have similar problem?

Thanks a lot Alex for your kind response. I'm just wondering if the result will come out within 8-12 months and, hopefully, if they offer me a place. How long will they give me to accept the offer?

Glasgow, are you sure that your status is exactly the same as mine?? Is your ready for the committee review too?? If so, that would be weird. Maybe you should check with the addmissions office.

I submitted my online application very early, which might have something to do with it.

Hey

Ye called them today...they said it was a mistake.
They changed my status back, and said they will notify me when my references etc arrive and when my applications in "complete".
