It's probably logical that if your thesis is overly specific on a problem only existing in your home country, your thesis will not be a plus for finding an job overseas. However, you may try to market yourself on the platform that you have the aptitude to be innovate (as shown by your thesis) and are therefore able to find relevant solutions to significant problems. If the prospective employer buys it, you're home free! All the best...and relax, you're still in a better position than most people. Be grateful for that.
