GULC (General LLM / LLM in International Legal Studies + Certificate in International Human Rights Law), George Washington (LLM in International and Comparative Law + Oxford-GW International Human Rights Program), University of Texas, and American University (WCL) are also said to be strong in Human Rights.

Hello,
I think American University (wcl) is a good one. You could also look at St Thomas University. But I think Europe provides very good options too. Check them up, you never can tell.

For international human rights, American University would be your best choice should you be interested in studying in Washington, DC. The law school has an outstanding reputation in international law in general, but is especially known for human rights. The school's summer Human Rights Academy brings leading scholars and practitioners from all over the world. You also cannot go wrong with Georgetown and George Washington. In New York you have Columbia University and New York University, both of course world reknown. You could not go wrong with either school, should you be interested in NYC. Of course, the private/public ivies like Harvard, Yale and Michigan have very strong programs. Although, if I were you, I would try to stick to Washington or NYC, as it would be a lot easier for you to find internships/fellowships.

Is there anyone who applied to CLS for the human rights law LLM program? Has anyone received any negative or positive response?

Thanks EIS, I understand from other posts that you received your acceptance from CLS. Hope things work out for me too.
