<description>All Americans do non-law undergraduate degrees. Then they go to law school for a JD - a 3 year programme. There&#39;s no CPE/GDL (i&#39;m a UK student!), as in a one year programme. The LLM is to be done after the JD or, for UK students, either after a law degree or after the conversion course. </description>
