santiago: Question about Heidelberg center

My name is Santiago. I am doing the LL.M in this moment, tell me what you need to know and I can help you. But in order to give you a good idea, the LLM is between the U de Chile and the U of Heidelberg. Th professors are really good, and they focus on the investment part, and in the free trade agreements.
Feel free to ask anything.

Thanks for your reply. How many classes are in english and how many in spanish? Are most of the professors from Latin America or Germany? Is there much emphasis on international arbitration/litigation? How do you enjoy living in Santiago, are you living in an apartment or the university? What is the average age of the students? Many questions I know. Thanks so much for your information!

santiago: Question about Heidelberg center

The classes are 50 - 50. The professors are mainly Latin American but all of them are really good, in their field. Some of them Work in ICC - ICSID (In some Tribunals) - and in their countries in the FTA and BIT negotiations. The emphasis is in arbitration, not litigation and in FTA and BITīs.
About Santiago de Chile, well is a nice city, full of foreigners and the atmosphere is nice, (I am form Colombia so it is very quiet for me) I found a place near the U, a flat that I share with a friend of The LLM (from Mexico) But I heard the U. is going to have apartaments for the student in teh next years, (you must ask, im not sure) About the age. I am the youngest with 24 years, and the oldest is 45 (I guess) the average is 28 maybe.

Thanks for the info, I really appreciate it. Can I bother you with a few more questions? How many students are in the program? Are most from Latin America or Europe/Germany? Any from the U.S.? Are you also working during the day while attending the program? Does the program offer scholarships? Thank you again!

juldaza: Question about Heidelberg center
